Click here to view the Shearing Register
British Wool have been working together with other industry organisations to fill a potential shortage of overseas shearers and to assist contractors in putting together UK teams to ensure the flock gets shorn to prevent any unnecessary animal welfare problems.
If you are a shearer and able to assist, even if only for a day or two’s shearing, please visit the National Association of Agricultural Contractor's website so your details are listed for contractors and farmers. Shearers and farmers can also contact UK shearing contractors using the Shearing Register to offer assistance or to get shearing work completed.

British Wool is owned by approximately 40,000 sheep farmers in the UK. We collect, grade, market and sell British wool on behalf of our producers to the international wool textile industry for use in flooring, furnishings and apparel. Wool that has been through our grading system is quality assured and fit for purpose. Products bearing our distinctive logo of the shepherd’s crook and Union Jack are British wool rich - a mark that consumers can trust.
