We are a small Family run business set up by Robin and Deborah Slade. Now in our 15th Year We specialize in making a wide range of Handmade, Additive and Gluten Free Vinegars, Preserves and Pickled Products using Whole Natural, Raw Ingredients that are Grown or Sourced Locally.
Our Vinegars are made using a 'Vinegar Mother' a living Culture that turns the natural sugars in the fruits and roots into vinegar. The Vinegars are then used as a basis for our Preserves, Pickled Fruit and Onions. The 23 Vinegars are made up of Fruits, Flower, Herb, Root, Citrus and Spiced Flavours. These can bu used in a variety of dishes including Savoury and Sweet dishes. We have 3 types of Pickled Onion. The Heritage - an Old Fashioned Pickled Onion that bites back. A Pudding Onion- A sweet Onion Pickled in our Spiced Blackberry Vinegar that is Great with a Piece of Fruit Cake, Mince Pie or Ice Cream as well as Cold Meats and Cheese. Not forgetting our Chilli Onion- Known locally as our Evil Onion they are HOT. Ginger Pickled Pears and Spiced Pears, Apple & Herb Jellies and Plum Jellies top off the Range. We are developing a range of Fruit Balsamic Vinegars.
